Thermal-Bond non woven is non woven cloth which is made without adding any chemical materials. The raw materials used in making thermal-bond non woven are polypropylene synthetic fibers(pp) and bicomponent fibers. All of these raw materials are presently imported from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Denmark, USA as Indonesia has not yet been able to produce them. The making process is through mixing these fibers and passing them through the thermal calendar machine. This illustrate the non-chemical and clean process of making thermal bond non-woven. In Indonesia, MSI is the first company to introduce this thermal-bond system to the market. Thermal-Bond non woven is mainly used in cover stocks (sanitary napkins & baby diapers). However, thermal-bond non woven can be also used in interlinings & disposable items. | |
